Speed Skating Canada is the governing body for competitive long track and short track speed skating in Canada. When they looked to rebrand, it was important their new identity equally represented both long track and short track. The oval is their home, their stage, their battleground, it’s where they push boundaries and share the thrill of racing on ice, it’s where they rally together, it’s a space that’s truly theirs. They own the oval. The new identity brought that to life with short and long track ovals radiating outwards, creating a dynamic sense of movement and speed stemming from the maple leaf at the heart of the mark.
