Northwest company operate a chain of financial institutions catering small, mostly aboriginal communities in Northern Canada. To align with a shift in product and service offerings, there was a desire for a rebrand that was friendly, simple and more human, something that would better reflect their dedication to the community and create a sense of shared ownership and togetherness. It also needed to be flexible enough to speak to future audiences as Northwest expanded into larger urban markets.
